Energy research is one way I occupy my time.  I found some eye-opening data on the Department of Energy web site.  It can be seen on the DOE report on U.S. and World Energy, published in June, 2009.  This report prompted me to write a presentation about our "new age of energy" that is about 25 minutes long.  I'd love to visit your organization to share data from the DOE and more.

An excellent source for general information is the Department of Energy - Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy site -- www.eere.energy.gov

The Alliance to Save Energy says, "…energy efficiency should always be part of the solution to energy and environmental challenges…" See their informative web site that has something for everyone - www.ase.org

The Maryland Energy Administration site is also very good - www.energy.state.md.us
